Svea - 1/24/2020

Svea ate oatmeal and three or four bites of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger stew with meat, tomatoes, green beans, and carrots.  Also, no whole wheat dinner roll and ate apricots.

This first note is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  Atley said, "Linnea is not here."  Svea started saying something, but at first I couldn't understand her.  Then I realized she was saying, "Disneyland, Disneyland, Disneyland."  Over and over.  It was so cute and she was SO proud when I figured it out.

Some of the kids were done with breakfast, including Svea, and were in the play room.  Svea was on the other side of the room and started crying.  Avilene said, "I think Callahan pulled her hair."  I said, "Well I doubt it considering he's sitting right here in his highchair and I'm still feeding him oatmeal.  Haha.  Avi got the cutest grin on her face.  In defense of Avi, that really wasn't a bad guess.  He's been pulling ALL the girl's hair.

Here's a picture of Svea with her babies again.  When she saw I was taking this picture she got all serious and shy and closed her eyes.  Last picture:  Avi, Atley, and Svea were building at the legos table.  (I'd actually started building and then backed away and they continued.)  Callahan came over to see what kind of chaos he could create and sure enough he was successful!!  Haha!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
