Svea - 1/7/2020

Svea ate most of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken and cabbage stir fry which also had peppers, zucchini, olive oil, and spices.  She ate brown rice and mandarin oranges.  This first picture is from breakfast time and I'd just washed Svea and she was having a last drink of her milk.  See what she did with her milk.......on the edge of her highchair.........She said, "balancing."  And said all three syllables!!  Hey, I'm impressed!!  Well done Svea.  And in case you were wondering, yes this is a "re-enactment!!"  Thanks for cooperating with me Svea!

Within a couple minutes of arrival Svea was saying, "snuggle snuggle snuggle."  So we were snuggling on the couch.  Along with Miles, Avi, and then Linnea was trying to join us.  I've never heard Svea say this, but she (talking to Linnea) said, "My Gary, My Gary, go play, go play."  But shortly after that encounter they were reading books and I took the following picture.  Best Buds.

Next picture;  Just hanging out being cool, being cute, and ready to eat a fake cookie.  :)  Last picture; Svea was laying on the edge of the couch because this was as close as she could get to Baby Miles who happens to be laying in the "restricted zone."  When I asked her what she was doing her answer definitely had something to do with Miles and she wanted to be near him.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
