Svea - 2/5/2020

Svea had no whole wheat toast and ate three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, no carrots, and ate a large serving of fruit salad.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I was in the middle of changing Miles - and going to get him some clean pants - and I just laid him on the floor.  Atley started this by stretching out her mouth and saying, "Hey Miles! Look at me!!  Look at me!!"  Then Linnea and Svea joined in with the chant and silly face.  Meanwhile Miles doesn't even know they are there.  :)

Next picture: Here's the story behind the picture.  Atley was playing with Linnea and Svea and they love it when she does that!!  It was kind of a combination of "hide and seek" along with "chase."  Svea was wandering around behind them "counting" and saying, "Ready I come. Ready I come."

Next picture: I can tell you what Cal is thinking (I have insight! Ha!) at this moment: "Oh crap! There's a stinking surveillance camera in this place!" As he's moving in to grab Svea's legos.  Luckily she was distracted with other legos and didn't even notice the interloper!!  Last picture:  Oh oh Svea!  Here's comes that Callahan again!!  So look at this picture and then guess at what happens next!?!  If you said Avilene the big sister flew over to protect Svea you are correct!!  Here's a piece of Advice for you Callahan: You always want to check your surroundings carefully before you make a move!!  haha!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
