Svea - 3/27/2020

Svea ate most of brown rice and no raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, two servings of riced cauliflower, and ate mangoes.

I was talking about Miles taking a long nap and I said, "Miles is sleeping like crazy!!"  Svea had this incredulous look and tone when she asked, "Miles is crazy?!?!"  LOL.  She loves story time and when I mention it she charges around looking for my pillows that I use on the couch for my back.  "Your pillow! I find it!  Your pillow! I find it!!"  Also she wanted to shut off Alexa for Story Time.  Svea was yelling; "Stop Alexa stop!!  Stop Alexa stop!!"  :)

The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  She was wearing her pajamas and still wanted the dress-up pajamas on too.  Haha.  She said, "Please, please."  Haha.  Fine with me.  Following picture; Svea was trying to copy what Avi was doing.  When I took this picture she was laying on the mattress saying, "I doing it! I doing it!!"  Haha.  Yup, close enough!

Next picture: Svea is obviously not in the picture, but she's the one who set up the 5 babies like this; maybe so Miles had some playmates.  :)  And in the last picture: I just love how absorbed Svea gets in her books and just about anything she is working on.  Great focus and ability to stay on task.  Well done Svea.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
