Svea - 4/10/2020

Svea ate bites of cream of wheat cereal and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, bites of roasted broccoli (yummy - thanks Lauralea), and no pineapple.

I showed the girls the picture on Facebook of Momma Molly and I asked Svea, "Who is that?"  Svea said, "Avi!"  Then she looked at it again and said, "Svea!"  Haha.  So there you have it!  Both girls look like Mommy!!

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Avi were donning the same sun glasses and sitting in the sinks.  They love to just sit in those sinks.  :)  Their butts fit in there about perfect.  Ha!

Next picture: Totally quiet in the Daycare Room and I always know exactly what Svea is doing.  :)  Following picture; Running with Nora.  Atley is not here today and it alway intrigues me how the dynamic in a group changes depending on who's in the group.  Nora played with Avi in the Preschool Room doing activities and stuff for older kids.  Then Nora would need a break and go run with Svea.

Next picture; Svea was peeking over the edge at Miles and I was taking pictures.  Ooops, hanging over too far.  Miles is so mellow he didn't notice or care and Svea controlled herself enough that she didn't land on him.  That was nice control Svea.  Good work.  Last picture: Tired, ready for lunch, and ready for nap!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
