Svea - 4/27/2020

Svea ate cheerios and a bite of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, bite of whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, olives, and strawberries.

This first picture is one left over from Friday afternoon just in case one of you missed the pictures of Jerry set up doing his "magic."  It was actually much better than I expected!  Svea really didn't have a clue what the heck he was doing out there, but she liked having something different to watch!!

This was a pretty typical Monday morning!!  Lots of bantering and occasional bickering as they reestablish the pecking order!!  Ha!!  (Actually that's pretty true!!)  So I let them know who the Big Rooster is and then they start having 'memory recall' and fall into line.  Avi was pretending to be my baby and I was snuggling her on the couch.  Svea kept saying, "let my Sister go, let my Sister go." :)

First picture:  Svea has her dolls, doll blankets, and purses and she's a happy camper.  Second picture; The older girls were playing a game of hide-n-seek and Svea decided to join in by "hiding" in this fabulous hiding spot.  :)  Last picture: Svea wanted to wear this dress then went to the gate to show Avi and Atley.  She kind of forgot what she went there for and started doing some slick dance moves.  Little Cutie!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
