Svea - 4/9/2020

Svea ate three servings of waffles and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she had no turkey loaf, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.

I have three pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea loves to load up on the hats and in the first picture she has on 5 of them.  (All that I have in this toy exchange.)  Which is just fine until someone else wants one!!  :)  Second picture; She's still wearing the hats!  The UPS driver had just brought a package to the door and these kids waved from the window.  Atley said, "I love him. He's my favorite boy."  Haha.  How's that for classic "love at first sight?"

This next picture was also before we went outside yesterday.  I love watching how hard Svea works.  (Yes I know I mention this frequently.  Just like I would mention it with Avilene at this age.  The same type of work ethic.)  Svea goes about her work differently than Avi did, but she always has a plan and works the plan.  She laid out all these blocks and they have to lay just the way she wants them to.

I put the picture in Avi's Blog today with the kids making necklaces using fruit loops.  I held the string and Svea was feeding them onto the string.  (pun intended)  It was pretty funny because she was getting tired and kept yawning and yawning and yawning!  Last picture: I just like the profile picture at the window and she was lining up dinosaurs on the window sill.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
