Svea - 5/11/2020

Svea ate two servings of bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, no whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, bites of cucumbers, and ate pears.  She also ate two big pieces of Lauralea's lettuce.  Lauralea was putting chicken on her lettuce to make a "chicken boat" and she was doing that with Svea's lettuce too.  I figured I better add a picture of the lettuce (before they started putting chicken on it) so you could see what the heck I"m talking about.  Those are some pretty hefty pieces of lettuce and Svea ate 2 of those.  :)

I have the cutest note left over from Friday afternoon.  Svea just randomly said to me; "Gary, my guys are not home.  My guys are not home."  My response: "Oh, that's interesting.  Who are your guys?"  Svea said, "Name is Grandma, Name is Grandpa."  Now that's flipping cute!!

First picture; I took this picture right after Daddy Andy went out the door.  I just thought it was SO cute how Svea was arranging, rearranging, and rearranging her shoes and socks.  She finally quit because Daddy was sitting in the pickup waving at the kids at the window.

So speaking of cute; how's this for cute?!?  :)  She was wrapping up her baby and totally absorbed in her play until she saw me taking a picture.  Last picture: Svea joined Avi and Atley at the table to do some stickers.  Or at least Atley was also doing stickers and Avi was coloring.  Nora and Miles have more Grandparents in town this week, so for at least the first day or two this week it will be these 3 kids at Little Treasures.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
