Svea - 5/5/2020

Svea ate bite of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of pork roast, no whole wheat toast, ate beets, and ate applesauce.  (I'm putting this next post in all the Blogs because I love it!!)  So at breakfast the kids were talking about the ones not here;  Linnea and Callahan.  Atley said, "Callahan's owners do not let him go to Gary's!"  Haha!!  I laughed so hard.  I asked, "Who are his owners?"  Atley said, "Maddy and Colin."  Lauralea asked Atley; "Who are your owners?"  Atley said, "Megan and Brad."  :) Classic!!

Last week Avi and I were looking on Amazon because I wanted to get a couple more big coloring books and I'm partial to materials made by "Melissa & Doug."  Very well made kid accessories.  So they came yesterday and everyone was doing some coloring.  As you'll see in Avi's Blog, she worked the majority of the morning on pictures.

Next picture; So in the last toy exchange it was the purses that Svea would load up on!  Yesterday and today the stethoscopes have replaced the purses.  Ha.  She likes to find ALL of them and then haul them around like you see in the picture; the same as she did with the purses every day for two weeks.

Last picture: Svea and Nora (even though she's not in the picture) were dancing and jumping on the mattress while Alexa was playing, "We got the beat."  I'd never heard that song before until I got Alexa and now I've heard it probably 70 - 80 times.  No, probably more.  :)  The two oldest girls did LOTS of coloring this morning and Nora played with Svea a lot as well.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
