Svea - 5/6/2020

Svea ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of whole 30 chili with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and tomato sauce.  She ate bites of whole wheat dinner roll and ate tropical fruit.

Alexa was playing the music to "Lion King" and Svea was saying, "Gonna get Simba, gonna get Simba."  Atley and Nora told her it was a hyena and Svea changed it to "honey."  Haha.  "Honey get Simba, Honey get Simba."

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea was lining up all the stuffed animals on the steps and balance beam.  She is a little organizer and will frequently arrange things in a creative order that only she sees.  :)

Next picture: Svea was playing with the food toys, but the reason I took this picture was because she was singing songs while playing independently.  Songs like; "Baa Baa Black Sheep,"  "Humpty Dumpty,"and "Bingo was his name."  Instead of saying the letters to "Bingo" Svea was saying "Atley."  "A T L E Y and Atley is her name." Very good Svea.  Last picture: Look at those faces; haha. Busted.  They realized I was watching them when they both were chewing on the food toys instead of pretending.  Both immediately whipped them out of their mouth!!  Ha!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
