Svea - 5/7/2020

Svea ate waffles and ate three servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of turkey loaf, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.

So every day this week Avilene has been telling Nora; "We know where you live! We know where you live!"  And of course the discussions that follow have to do with visiting, playing with Nora's toys, etc.  Hahaha.  Anyhow, yesterday during Snack time Avi was telling Nora that again and also mentioned something about Svea ripping books.  Nora became concerned and turning to Svea said something like this; "I will be really sad if you rip books at my house."  Then she added; "You cannot rip books at my house!"  Avi looked at Svea and added this gem; "And you can stop ripping books at home too!"  LOL!  Svea's just sitting in her highchair trying to enjoy Snack and catching heck from those two.  Totally hit my funny bone!!

First two pictures from this morning;  Svea was playing with the big kitty this morning instead of the dolls, but she was treating it just like her baby.  Well maybe not just like the dolls, because she did use it for a pillow after getting it all situated in bed.  Ha.  I think the 2nd picture is especially cute.

Last picture; Svea also played with the doctor toys and especially the stethoscopes.  I think she has all of them in the chair with her.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
