Svea - 6/15/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and bite of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey burger, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, bites of tomato, and ate cherries.

Hey, while I'm thinking about it I want to pass on this information.  Sometime close to the end of June Blogger.com is launching a "new interface" what-cha-ma-call-it!  The information says it will be the default for all users.  So if you see a blip for a day or two, or you don't see the Blog, don't worry, I'll get it worked out!!

Svea was thrilled that Callahan is here!  It was so cute and funny to watch her.  At breakfast time I said, "Ok, come get in your highchairs."  Svea and Cal are the highchair kids.  She grabbed his arm and tried leading him out and it was more like dragging!!  "Come on Cal, come on Cal, come on Cal."  During breakfast I asked Svea, "Did you have a good weekend?"  She answered it with a question; "Did you miss me?"  Then she looked at Cal and said, "Did you miss me Callahan?"  Haha.

First picture: She was telling Cal, "You have to turn it, you have to turn it."  (Which is true.)  Then she grabbed a book and said to the babies, "Ok guys, here's a book."  Haha.

Next picture; Well Svea did play with other things and other people besides Cal!!  Here she is doing some "sleeping" with Atley and Nora.  Last picture: Everyone was on the airplane and they were trying to coax Callahan to come get on the airplane with them.  "Come on Callahan, come on Callahan. We're leaving!! Come on Callahan."  Cal didn't care.  Apparently he likes being stuck in the airport!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
