Svea - 6/16/2020

Svea ate waffles and grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples.

I have a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea and Cal were playing as soon as they awoke from their naps.  Cal looks like he's going head-first off the little climber, but actually he pushed himself backwards and saved himself from doing a nosedive.  Second picture: Svea is making good progress learning to pedal.  She pretty much has the whole idea and now it's just a matter of doing it over and over.  Speaking of outside time the kids spotted something on the sidewalk that they thought might be a "roly poly bug." Nope, sorry kids, but that's rabbit poop.  :)

I just think Svea is a silly goofy little sweetie.  She makes me laugh.  Today she randomly said, "I go to kindergarten."  Oh really?  She said, "Because people bug me."  I roared.  Then she said, "I just talk."  Ok whatever you say.
Another Svea moment; "Gary, I go to the pool by myself."  Ok whatever you say.  :)

Pictures from this morning.  Snuggling with her favorite stuffed animal from this set.  :)  Second picture; Filling her purse full of goodies.  Third picture; Cal came over to where Svea was playing and he was saying, 'Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi...."  Last picture: Svea was working on building with the legos and legos flowers.  She said, "Hey guys, this is really cool."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
