Svea - 6/23/2020

Svea ate most of whole wheat English muffin and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken, a large serving of brown rice, ate most of stir fry vegetables, and ate all of her mandarin oranges.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  We used to call this "doing bridges" when practicing for wrestling to keep your shoulders from the mat and from getting "pinned."  Future wrestlers right here.  :)  Nora and Atley were the ones doing it and then Svea joined in the background.  So cute.  Svea has herself perfectly pinned!!  :)  Atley said, "That's a really fun trick!!"

Next picture: Well you can only see Atley, but Nora and Svea are hiding out in their "cave" again and then yelling when Cal tugs on their blankets and pillows.  Atley was helping them get cozy and hidden in their cave again.  Following picture; Well here's that cute little girl in front of the mirror again! Yesterday she said, "Hey Gary, I have a new dress. At home. It's pretty for me."  SO CUTE!!  I love that wording!

Last picture;  Callahan was peeking in at Svea and then bopping around behind the igloo trying to "hide" from her.  :)  I like how she's peeking around to see what he's doing and as soon as he started walking towards her, she quickly scooted right back in her "shell."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
