Svea - 7/10/2020

Svea ate oatmeal and bites of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, and tomatoes.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots.

I was giving Callahan a love and I said, "you're such a sweet little boy."  Svea heard that and said, "Sometimes he grab my hair!!"  LOL!  Made me laugh.  I said, "Yes that's true and we're teaching him to be gentle."  Svea nodded her head yes.  It was very cute.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea asked for the chalk and she played with it for at least 20 - 30 minutes.  She was the only one and actually she's been the first to ask for chalk every day this past week.

I took this next picture before Svea went to the window to wave at Momma Molly.  She said, "I have a beautiful dress."  Yes you do; almost as cute as you, but not!!  I like how it makes her look like she's standing on one leg.  She was spinning around and around.

Last picture; Svea was listening to Alexa play the soundtrack from "Frozen Two."  She was acting out a "scary" part and yelled.  As you can see Callahan liked the yelling part!!  Haha.  A few minutes earlier Svea said, "He (Cal) said hi to me Gary, he said hi to me!!"  Like it'd never happened before!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
