Svea - 7/1/2020

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and lots of spices.  She ate none of the whole wheat dinner roll and ate tropical fruit salad.

I started a Blog for Miles today (even though his birthday is the 10th) so I'm now doing 6 Blogs and the times the Blogs get posted may change a bit.  Again, it will usually be between 12:30 and 2:30.  So Grandparents in far away places may need to be patient.  haha.

This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon and Svea was asking me to snuggle her.  "Please snuggle me Gary, please snuggle me."  Well of course!!  And snuggle time is a time for selfies too!! Second picture:  Svea was telling me a story and watching herself in the mirror!!  Haha.  She said, "It was an accident."  I realized she was telling me about when she tipped this chair over on Monday.  "It was just an accident!!"

Next picture; In front of that mirror again!!  Haha.  Dancing with Nora and having lots of fun.  Isn't this a cute picture!?!  Last picture; Svea was playing peek-a-boo with Callahan.  A moment before this picture Svea said, "Gary! Cal is trying to bug me!!"  Haha.  Later, Cal fell on the yellow bench and I was snuggling him.  Svea came over with a doll blanket and said, "I make him feel better."  That was sweet Svea.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
