Svea - 7/14/2020

Svea ate waffle and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples.

First picture: This is leftover from yesterday afternoon and shortly before this Lauralea had come outside for something and then before leaving she was scratching my back.  Thank you Lauralea!  Anyhow, Avi wanted Lauralea to scratch her back, Nora also asked, but Svea asked if she could scratch Lauralea's back.  Isn't that sweet and cute!?!  So Lauralea sat on a bike and I took a picture. :)

Next picture: Svea making a grand entrance.  Haha.  This picture actually was shortly after she arrived and I was getting a kick out of all the dancing she was doing.  Nice work Svea.  And of course there was a fair amount of time in front of the mirrors too!!

Last two pictures; They've (Daycare Kids) all had fun getting acquainted with Coral and competing for her attention!!  For those that may not know; Coral was in our Program years ago (she's now 18) and had her own bedroom at our house for most of those 18 years.  She arrived on Thursday and will be here under late July.  Next picture: "Watch me Coral!  Watch me!!"  :)  Last picture: It was cute how Callahan and Svea were both reading on the couch and then they were distracted by our Coral girl laying on the mattress.  "What the heck is that big girl doing on there!?!"

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
