Svea - 7/15/2020

Svea ate half of whole wheat toast and three servings of watermelon for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She ate saltines and most of tropical fruit.  (Picked out all the mangoes and left most of the pineapple.)

At breakfast the conversation was all about swimming with Atley and Nora leading the way, but Atley also questioned Svea about her swimming abilities.  And of course everyone can do everything!!  That point was never in doubt!!
Atley; "Can you make your head stand underwater?"  (LOL)
Nora; "Yes."
Atley; "Can you jump in the deep end?"
Nora; "Yes."
Atley; "Svea, can you jump in the deep end?"
Svea; "Yes."  Haha.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and when she was stretched across there she was saying, "I do a bridge Gary, I do a bridge."  Look at those toes.  :)  Nice work Svea.

Next picture:  Right after drop off Svea had to start combing her hair.  :)  I like how she has three spare combs in her right hand.  She had just got through waving at Grandpa Mark.  Atley and Nora were so excited:  "We saw Lucy!  We saw Lucy!"  Haha.   Following picture: Talking to Coral about the Superman toy she's playing with.  Last picture: Svea was convinced that Cal was gonna take some of her froggies, but actually he was just looking.  Then he went and found a couple more and gave them to Svea.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
