Svea - 7/7/2020

Svea ate half of blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, a large serving of brown rice, bites of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.

Picture left over from yesterday and this was SO adorable when I realized what Atley was describing in detail to Svea.  This was a very serious story!!  Momma Megan shared how Atley was really scared of going potty in one of the Forest Service Campground Toilets!!  But they explained to Atley it was either that or they'd have to pack up and go home.  Atley got very brave and hanging on to the rail while going potty kind of saved the camping trip!  When I took this picture I could hear Atley saying, "There is a rail you can hang onto!!"  SO SO CUTE!

Next picture;  Svea was piloting the airplane and Cal was along for the ride.  Svea said, "Hold on Cal."  Yes, that's a very good idea.  :)  Following picture:  Another picture with Callahan.  He'd been crying a bit because he fell and I was right in the middle of changing a diaper for Miles.  However I took a second to get a picture of Svea wiping Cal's tears.  :)

Next picture:  Svea, you make a very very cute little Piggy!!  Last picture: Svea and Callahan were hanging off the edge of the blue balance beam to see what Miles was up to.  This did NOT end in disaster in case anyone was wondering about them hanging off the edge!  Cal got a little over-center once, but recovered nicely.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
