Svea - 8/17/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and no mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, no tomatoes, and ate cherries.   During breakfast Svea looked at Nora and said, "I love you Nora."  It was very sweet and cute.  

Callahan was happy to see Miles when I got Miles up from his morning nap.   Cal said, "Hi Mau Mau, Hi Mau Mau!  Of course Svea had to start saying it too with a big grin on her face; "Hi Mau Mau, hi Mau, Mau."  It was pretty funny and she loves making me laugh.

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so it was even busier than usual around here this morning.  Svea found most or probably all of the heart bracelets.  Following picture; Originally Callahan had the bunny ears around his neck.  Haha.  Svea had to fix them!!  And Cal just stood there waiting for Svea to get it done.  Check out the dress-up clothes Svea is wearing; shoes and hat.  


Next picture; Look at all the toys on the sinks.  Atley said, "We're having a party."  As soon as they were done with this "party" Callahan moved in and plundered their loot.  Last picture: Svea still wearing her hat and shoes!!  I love how much she likes to read books.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
