Svea - 8/18/2020

Svea ate waffles and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and ate most of baked cinnamon apples.    

This first picture was super super cute.  Svea was pretending to drink from the container she's holding and then they'd laugh like it was the funniest thing they've ever seen.  They kept doing it for many many minutes; WAY beyond when it had ceased to be funny.  Haha.  Second picture: Svea is the one who was asking to do sand play and she was having a grand time.  

I was talking to Avilene about something and I commented; "Oh that's right your Daddy was not home last night."  Svea said; "He's at Falls."  Haha.  Avi said, "NOOOO!!  He's at Great Falls."  I thought Svea did good to remember part of it!!

Here are some pictures from Svea's morning;  I've mentioned this many times, but this is frequently how this age group "plays together."  Their toys are different, but they are playing in close proximity to each other.  Following picture: Svea is searching for another little baby for her play.  If you look closely she has carefully arranged the little people just how she wants them.  They are sitting in chairs around a table and she said they were "eating."  Last picture: Atley joined Svea reading some books on the couch and they were talking about things they saw in the book.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
