Svea - 8/19/2020

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower.   She ate saltines and two servings of tropical fruit.   At breakfast I asked Svea what she did last night.  She said, "Oh, I swim at the Country Pool."  Hahaha.  Avi heard that of course and yelled, "No you didn't! No you didn't!!"  Haha.  

Today Nora was yelling at Svea; "I don't like that Svea!!  I don't like that Svea! I don't like that Svea!"  I couldn't see that Svea was doing anything so I asked Nora, "what is Svea doing?"  Nora said, "She's peeking at my face."  Ok then.....so sometimes the conflicts are super serious.  :) 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I thought it was cute how Svea was watching the "older" kids in the Preschool, but I especially liked how she had her purse hanging around her neck.  The strap might be just a little bit too long!  :)


Next picture:  Svea hard at work making a cake at the kitchen sink.  Meanwhile there's a boy trying to get a drink from the faucet.  Haha.  Let me tell you something Callahan, it's pretty dang hard to get a drink from the faucet when your feet are in the sink too!!  I don't care how young and flexible you are!  Haha. 

Next picture: Cal has several pieces of food toys on the sink top and Svea was wanting some (probably ALL) of them!  And he was gladly passing them over.  Just prior to this Svea was yelling at him for putting a toy in his mouth.  (I didn't see that part.)  Svea said, "Gary will be mad at you!!"  Haha.  Believe me there's no one putting toys in their mouth more than Svea!!  So it was the voice of experience speaking!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
