Svea - 8/28/2020

Svea ate oatmeal and most of dried cranberries for breakfast.  She was not here for lunch. 

Svea looks so dang cute with 2 ponytails!!  

First picture; I wasn't sure what she was doing here, but there was lots of cuteness happening!  She was super busy, working hard, humming to herself, and totally absorbed in her work.  She eventually said, "I make my house."  

Next picture: Avi made a "horse" for herself, Svea, and then for Callahan.  (He's on his horse, but partially hidden behind Avi.)  When she was done Cal said, "nice."  :)  Thank you Avi for being so sweet to the little people.  You have a great heart.  Following picture; Svea and Nora in the igloo again and it's VERY FULL with ALL the pillows, dolls, doll blankets, stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, shoes, purses, hats, and I think that's about it.  :)

Last picture; Svea was yelling outside because she didn't think she was getting fair treatment under the big parachute "cave."  So I suggested she do her own cave with the little parachute and this is what we came up with.  She sitting on the driver's seat at the steering wheel and she's actually peeking through the air vent holes.  (The vent is in the middle of the parachute.)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
