Svea - 8/31/2020

Svea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bite of tomato, ate avocado, and two servings of mandarin oranges.   

Nora and Svea were playing in the igloo again like they've been doing everyday lately.  Nora had to go to the bathroom and then I heard her holler something from the bathroom!!  Lauralea told me what Nora said; "Hey Svea!!  make sure nobody gets in my spot ok!!"  Haha.  I'm pretty sure Svea (still in the igloo) wasn't even aware that Nora had yelled for her.  :)

Svea wanted Callahan to stop grabbing her toy so she said, "Go away and read books!!"  LOL!  That made me laugh because kids usually just yell and scream or whatever.  They don't usually make suggestions about where the other kid should go!!  :)

First picture: So we did a Toy, Book, and Puzzle exchange this weekend and Svea was playing with the Doctor toys a lot this morning.   She's using the thermometer as a phone!  :)  Guess what she's saying to me in the second picture;  "I think you got a haircut."  So cute because she'd been examining my hair several times previously.  (and she's right)  


The next picture is really cute.  Svea was playing with the ramp and a couple of cars.  She'd put the cars on the ramp and then not watch them circle to the bottom.  But the boys were right there to scoop them up!  Ha.  Last picture:  We were playing and I was poking her and she kept wanting to do it over and over.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
