Svea - 9/3/2020

Svea ate waffle and three servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground turkey, no whole wheat tortillas, no sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.  At Lunch Atley made this proclamation; "There are NO fancy boys and NO fancy girls at this Preschool!!"  LOL. I have no idea what that means to her, but it sure made me laugh.  I wasn't sure if I should be proud or offended.  :)  After all (as I keep reminding my Program families) I am from Sanders County so I was slightly proud!!  :)  

This first picture is from 2 days ago I think!!  I asked Svea to pick up the baby toys in the room where Miles sleeps and told her she could play with the toys first.  When Miles wakes up from his nap, and the girls are still sleeping in the Day Care room, Avi usually goes in there with him and entertains him with these baby toys.  Thank you for picking up the toys Svea.

This next picture is from yesterday afternoon and I was trying to get a picture of Svea jumping over these noodle blocks she'd lined up.  She actually looked like a "hurdler" a few times.  So cute.  Look at her ponytails in the breeze!  :)

Next picture; I'm not sure how Cal managed to get between Svea and Nora, but Svea sure yelled when he exited that spot; "Cal step on me! Cal step on me!"  Last picture: Miles hanging out beside Svea.  Nora was there too and she said this was a "Birthday Party for pets!!"  I'm not saying a word about "Pets" because I don't want to get into trouble.  :)  Oh I don't really care so how's this one; Maybe the party was in Bozeman!!  Haha.  Please contact me if you don't get the joke and I'll explain!!  :)  You know it's a bad joke when it requires an explanation!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
