Svea - 10/12/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and half of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground turkey, no whole wheat sandwich thins, ate half of tomatoes, ate avocado, and ate her cherries.  At breakfast Nora was telling Svea all about "stitches."  "You just gotta get stitches.".... "It's great, my Mom said it's great and she really likes it."  I finally realized she was talking about a song!!  Haha.  I asked Nora, "What's so good about that song?"  Nora said, "Because it gets gooder, and gooder, and gooder!!"  Haha.  Ok, that explains everything.  

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and as usual the kids were super busy all morning. Atley and Avi are gone today and Nora played with Svea in the Daycare Room all morning.  In the first picture they are sorting through all the goodies.  In the second picture Svea couldn't get the door shut because there was a little person stuck in the doorway of the bus.  She kept trying to slam the door shut and I told her that was reason for termination from driving the school bus, but as usual my hilarious remarks are wasted on the youth!!  :) 

This next picture cracked me up.  These two girls are changing their baby's diapers and they're arguing about which baby has the bigger poop.  Svea said, "Mine has a big poopy diaper."  Nora said, "Mine is bigger."  Last picture: We put a different piece of soft cozy rug on the floor in the cozy corner.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
