Svea - 10/16/2020

Svea ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she had a bite of her meatloaf, bite of whole wheat dinner roll, ate riced cauliflower, and ate her mangoes.

Svea brought three or four really good books from home that we read during Story Time.  My definition of "good" books:  The primary thing I look for when I'm reading to children (up to 3 - 3.5 years of age) is the amount of words in the story.  Of course I also like a story that I think is quality and encouraging for the children as well.  But too many words quickly loses their attention.  Those are the books I put in the Preschool books.

Two Pictures;  Nora and Svea played for a LONG time on and under the blue balance beam.  With all the stuffed animals, pillows, dolls, and doll blankets.  Those two love this kind of game while Atley and Avi quickly grow tired of it.  First picture:  Svea had just fell off backwards.  ALL Svea said, "that hurt."  Nora said, "It's a good thing you landed on the pillows."  I was recording the incident into my phone and said, "That Svea is a tough little girl."  Svea obviously heard what I said, "That Svea is a tough little girl."

Last picture:  Svea and Nora were STILL playing on (and under) the balance beam.  Svea was laying on top completely covered with a blanket.  Except her toes were sticking out; you can see them directly in front of Cal's forehead.  So (with some encouragement from Gary - ha) Cal was saying, "tickle tickle."  :)
