Svea - 10/19/2020

Svea ate cheerios and no banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, avocado, and half of mixed fruit.  

Svea was the only one here until just about breakfast time and she was having fun darting back and forth across the room.  Then I was "hiding" from her and she was loving that as well.  I got several pictures of her, but most of them were blurry because she was constant movement.  :)

Next two pictures;  Svea and Nora were building their "hideout" in the cozy corner this morning.  Nora started recruiting Cal to do all the heavy work for them before Cal was even out of his breakfast highchair. "Hey Cal, when you're done eating will you bring all the animals over to the cozy corner?"  Haha.  That made me laugh.  You can see in the next picture he's still at work packing blocks for them.  In the following picture Svea and Nora are laying in their corner and Svea is trying to give Nora a kiss on the cheek and Nora has her hand up to protect herself.  Haha.  Svea rolled back over on her side and said, "Ok, now you kiss me."  Haha.  

Last picture:  Miles has some really cool "grippers" on the bottom of his sock and of course Svea was totally mesmerized by them.  Miles eventually grew tired of that, rolled over, and went crawling away. Svea was saying, "Hey!! Give me that foot back."  Nora immediately intervened and was saying, "Be nice to him!  Be nice to him!"  :)  Svea wasn't doing anything except trying to coax him into stopping so she could mess with those cool socks.  Little Momma Bear Nora to his defense.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
