Svea - 10/20/2020

Svea ate bites of whole wheat English muffin and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of chicken with stir fry vegetables, all of her brown rice, and ate mandarin oranges.  

Here's a couple of Svea quotes from this morning:  "Hey Gary!!  We're having fun at your house!!"
"Hey Gary!!  Why did you leave me with Lauralea!?!"  LOL!!

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon when Nora and Svea were going over backwards onto the mattress over and over.  I had several pictures of Svea, but most of them were too blurry because she's obviously moving.  But she was keeping her body straight when she was "falling."  :)

Here are some pictures from this morning.  Dancing in front of the mirror with Atley and Nora.  Atley has both feet off the floor in this picture.  They are all concentrating on the mirror.  :)  Following picture:  I was peeking around the corner at her and this was her beautiful response.  What a fun-loving little cutie. Last picture:  Svea worked so hard and long on her art paper.  She did lots of stickers and used markers to draw little circles and trace around several of he stickers.  Notice all the detail when you look at her picture tonight.  Well done Svea.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
