Svea -10/23/2020

Svea ate oatmeal and no dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate only applesauce.  No tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, or green beans.  

Svea said to me; "Cal is NOT listening to my words!"  Oh really, what did you say to him?  "I don't want him pestering me!"  LOL  It's probably not real professional to laugh at what they say when they are SO serious, but sometimes they are so dang funny.  And that was funny.  Haha.  Ok, I'll remind him to listen to you Svea!! 

First picture from yesterday afternoon.  Svea is on the right buried under a stack of pillows and whatever else was there and Nora is on the left.  You can basically just see Nora's blonde hair.  Svea said, "I'm cozy."  Nora said, "Yes, well I'm cozier."  Haha.  Goofy kids.  

This next picture was also yesterday afternoon outside.  We weren't out very long because it was pretty cold and wet and no one had boots, but they wanted to go out pretty bad so we did.  Eating fresh snow was the highlight of the outside time!!  :)  Especially for Svea and Avilene.  

Last picture:  Svea was so snuggly and loving this morning!!  She told me several times she loved me, told Lauralea she loved her, and asked to snuggle three different times.  Not the typical morning for Svea here, but it was very special and precious.  And worthy of a selfie.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
