Svea - 11/04/2020

Svea ate bites of whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, bites of brown rice, ate peas, and ate strawberries.  After breakfast Svea said, "Gary, thank you for getting breakfast ready for us."  She said it so sweet and I love how she worded it.  It was precious to have the Nelson girls back today.  I missed them.

First picture:  This started by Svea showing Cal the "grippers" on the bottom of her socks, and they are pretty impressive.  Then they started dinking around with Svea's socks and were laughing and being silly. Following picture:  Svea said, "Will you snuggle me Gary?"  Yes I'd love to.  Have I mentioned how sweet she was this morning!?!  :)

Next picture:  Svea worked hard on her paper doing stickers and using the markers.  Lately, after she's done with stickers she likes to draw around the stickers with her markers.  It's such good practice for her small motor skills.  Last picture: It was probably almost Lunch time when Svea realized if she looked closely she could find sparkles and glitter in the Daycare Room and she was loving it.  You should have been here Friday Svea!!  Atley and Nora were wearing their halloween costumes and there was glitter and sparkles everywhere!!  Our cleaning boy vacuumed this weekend and got most of it picked up.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
