Svea - 11/09/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and a couple bites of fruit cocktail for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, ate avocados, and no cherries.  I think Svea had just reached over toward Nora at the Lunch table and Nora was saying, "Stop that, stop that, stop that!!"  Svea said, "Calm down Nora."  LOL!!

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon and I'm posting it for two reasons.  One, the ground was bare of snow.  Ha.  Secondly, all 6 kids were under the parachute.  Which is very unusual and I had to be quick with the camera.  I can't prove all six are there, but you can't prove otherwise!  Haha.  

Next two pictures:  Here are two little Mommies caring for their babies.  These two love this kind of play while Atley was off reading books or doing art.  Right before this Svea was playing with the drums and so I asked Alexa to play "Little Drummer Boy" because I thought it might have an easy drumbeat to follow. When it was finished Svea asked, "Now can we play Little Drummer Girl?"  I Love that.  

Next picture: Svea stood motionless in front of the mirror for a LONG time just studying herself.  Finally she said to me; "Gary, I'm a big girl."  I love that because I got some insight on what was going through her mind.  Last picture:  Captain America suit.  :)  As soon as Svea had this suit on she said, "Ok somebody die."  LOL  She was ready to use her powers to "rescue!!"

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
