Svea - 11/18/2020

Svea ate bites of whole wheat toast and ate half of her grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, peppers, pineapple, tomato sauce, and olives.  She had no whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve separately) and she ate pineapple on the side.  

Svea said, "Gary, I have a friend named Addison."  Oh, you do?  Svea said, "Yes, my best friend." Avilene of course heard that and had to clarify at this point.  "It's not her friend; it's her cousin."  Haha.  Then Svea saw a food toy stuck between the two play sinks.  She said, "Can everybody help me!?! Can everybody help me?!?"  Haha.  I don't know about everybody, but somebody can.  And did.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea was looking at a book and then while pointing at one on the back she said, "Gary you don't have this one."  Well actually I have all of this author's books and the funny part; the book she's pointing at is the book in her hand.  Avilene recognized that and said, "You have it right in your hand."  :)

Next picture;  Svea did some art work with stickers and markers.  Last picture: Five kids waiting for Story Time and Miles is climbing up as well.  (He only stayed momentarily.)  Just prior to Miles climbing up Callahan was apparently sitting a bit too close to Nora because Nora said, "Cal go sit by Svea!!"  I had to move him at least 2.35 inches to the middle and then Nora was happy.  Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
