Svea - 12/01/2020

Svea ate blueberry bagel and two grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, some brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea was watching the pictures on the digital frame.  She said, "That's Miles hitting me!!"  No Svea, that's actually you attacking your sister Avilene.  Svea was about the age of Miles in the picture.  :)

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  About 1.5 hours into Nap Time Nora decided to lay down and she took a nap.  At first she was in the cozy corner and then she just scooted to the middle of the floor and went to sleep.  Haha.  So we staged pictures of the other kids sitting by while Nora slept.  When she awoke she went back to the cozy corner and Svea was petting and patting Nora so gently and sweetly.  

Next picture;  Svea was working hard at this puzzle and working just as hard to keep Miles from snatching a puzzle piece.  He was slipping his hand in beside Svea's right arm and he was very quick about grabbing a piece!! She'd get one in place and he'd snatch it out quickly and she'd yank it right back.  That Svea is a tough little critter there Miles.  Good luck!!  Haha.  Following picture: "Gary will you snuggle me?"  While we were snuggling Svea told me; "I'm gonna have a pink birthday."  :)

I love this Last picture;  Nora was lifting Svea up and said, "You're getting SO big!!"  Haha.  There's a couple of heavyweights right there!!  Not.  Right after this Nora asked Svea, "You wanna have a sleepover some day?"  Not that much earlier Nora was threatening Svea over some conflict;  "If you don't blah blah blah...I'm gonna go play with Atley and Avi!"  Haha.  Kids.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
