Svea - 12/04/2020

Svea ate some cream of wheat cereal and ate most of her baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger stew with meat, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and a bite or two of fruit cocktail.  At breakfast the cream of wheat was pretty "fluid" so we used straws.  Haha.  That's not the first time and they actually get a kick out of it.  At the bottom of Atley's bowl she said, "Just like the vacuum on the floor."  LOL.  Yup.  Leave it up to Atley to keep us all laughing.

First picture;  I took this picture immediately after Svea waved at Momma Molly.  She went to the cozy corner and started arranging and rearranging the pillows just the perfect way until she was satisfied. Following picture:  Nora and Svea laying down their pillows and getting all cozy on the mattress.  It's so cute how they both love this kind of play.  

Next picture:  Check out Nora's right leg in this picture!  Hahaha.  Blocking you out Miles.  She has three little cakes and candles from the food toys and Miles was pretty determined to pester her.  He frequently goes for whatever Svea is playing with.  Maybe this is payback for all the times Svea tormented Nora.  Ha. Nora would scream and Svea would follow her around continually.  You can see Cal's head in the bottom of the picture and he was headed for the couch too.  So the last picture follows in sequence;  Cal started pretending to "blow out" the candles and kept leaning in towards Svea's goods and driving her nuts.  Making a blowing sound every time.  :)  And he knew it was bugging her as he was grinning all over the place.  Man they know how to push each other's buttons!!  At such a young age!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
