Svea - 12/11/2020

Svea ate brown rice and no raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, riced cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes. 

Yesterday we (Lauralea doing the videoing) videoed the kids doing 3 separate Christmas songs.  This weekend I'm planning on trying (haven't done this before) to Post these on an "Unlisted You Tube" video.  No one can see it except those you give the link to.  Does anyone have any objections to this or know any reason I shouldn't use that format?  No names are given in the video; it's just 3 songs.

Svea always wants me to notice and comment on what she's wearing.  Today she said, "Hey Gary, look at my dress."  I said, "Svea I love all your fancy clothes."  She said, "Well my fancy clothes are in the laundry."  Haha.  So cute.  I think it's adorable that she loves "fancy clothes."

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Avi was sitting with me and we were doing some selfies.  Svea came up and joined us and it's too cute not to share!!  Love these girls. 

I'm gonna post the same picture here in Avi and Svea's Blogs.  I try not to do that very often, but all 4 girls were working hard at this Art Project and having a good time.  These Christmas Trees are made of felt and we glued some decorations on them and had some stickers that work on the felt!!  I helped Svea with the gluing and put down the glue where she pointed.  Last picture:  Doing some drawing after finishing her Christmas Tree.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
