Svea - 12/16/2020

Svea ate no whole wheat toast and ate half of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of fruit salad and nothing else.  No pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, or carrot/potato vegetable mix.  (She was uncomfortable and needing to poop; which she accomplished.)

First picture:  Svea had this dress on first thing this morning.  She had it on almost on all the way, but needed help just getting one arm in.  So 20 minutes later she realized it was on backwards and of course that was MY fault.  LOL!!  "Gary!! You forgot my dress the the right way!!"  I love the wording!!  (In case you're wondering; she wore it like this all morning.)  Speaking of dress, later in the morning Avi, Nora, and Callahan were in the igloo and Atley had jammed all the pillows, doll blankets, stuffed animals, and dress-up clothes in there as well and the entrance was plugged shut.  Svea let Atley know (even though Atley had NOT asked) the dress Svea was wearing was not available to igloo stuffing!!  "You can't have my dress!!  I need to wear it!!"  Haha.

Next picture:  Nora and Svea were flopping off the blue balance beam backwards and as you can see Svea is such a little kamikaze when she's doing this.  Nora on the other hand always makes sure she lands carefully on her butt.  Look at Svea's expression.  Having a blast.  

Last picture;  Ok things can get a little crowded when everyone tries to be cooking in the kitchen at the same!! Especially when one of them decides to sit on the countertop!!  Ha!  And especially when it's Svea and Cal vying for the same food toys.  Pictures make everything look so organized, calm, peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and total cooperation while sharing toys sweetly.  Yup, that's how it is here all day.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
