Svea - 12/18/2020

Svea ate oatmeal and no dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate applesauce.  No tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, or green beans.  I'm so glad you turned Svea's car seat around so she can give us reports on riding in the car.  At breakfast she said, "Hey Gary! I was driving at your house SO quickly!!" She has the cutest way of wording her sentences.  

Yesterday we had a person stop in that Room & Boarded with us for over 10 years.  (Beginning in 2000.) It was nice to see her for a few minutes and she was very careful about social distancing.  She was saying "hi" to all the kids and Svea randomly yelled to her, "My Mom is my Mother!"  LOL!  That was so flipping random and it cracked me up!!  

This first picture is so precious.  Nora said, "Svea, I want to cuddle you."  Svea jumped up and snuggled in so close and was loving it.  It just makes it even cuter because they are wearing matching pajamas.  These two are my Daycare Twins.  

Here are a couple of pictures from Svea's morning.  The four girls were on the mattress with the "Nelson Blankets" and Miles was crawling around there as well, but he managed to not get yelled at!!  Ha.  Last picture:  Some more blanket fun on the mattress.  Initially Cal and Svea were having the beginnings of a "tug-a-war."  Then Nora jumped on and that changed the game immediately; which was good.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
