Svea - 01/26/2021

Svea ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, ate whole wheat English muffin, ate beets, and applesauce.  Svea went to the window to wave at Daddy this morning and she yelled, "Hey Avi! Come wave at my Dad!!"  Haha.  

The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  I just wanted to show you another activity she was doing in the Preschool Room yesterday.  Threading the pipe cleaners back and forth through the holes.  Great for small motor practice.  Second picture;  And she makes a cute little froggy!!  :)

Next picture; A bit blurry, but you get the idea!  Her dress today is awesome for spinning.  She loved looking at this picture I took!  Following picture;  I was in the kitchen after breakfast and she said,"Hey Gary, come here. I want to show you something."  She had the cutest grin on her face.  She had the four dolls all arranged nicely and covered with doll blankets.  Good job with your babies Svea.  (And she's wearing that frog suit again!)

Last picture:  Svea was at the table doing some Art work, but was trying to listen to Alexa.  She cupped her hand over her ear and said, "I hear something."  It was so cute the way she did it!!  This picture is a "re-creation of that moment" and is fairly close to the original.  Haha.  Thank you for your cooperation and for your effort Svea!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
