Svea - 02/01/2021

Svea ate some bran cereal and some raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken topped with two servings of avocado, ate pita bread, cucumber, and pears.  

This first picture is leftover from Friday afternoon.  Nora was upset about something; mad and crying and Svea was trying to help her.  Svea was saying, "Calm down Nora, calm down Nora."  It was actually super cute because Svea was truly trying to help.  However it was still so hard not to laugh.  Svea needs to tell herself that frequently!!  But at least she's thinking of someone other than herself here!!  Good work Svea. Later, I told Svea that Nora was having a hard time because her Mommy "left on an airplane this morning."  In typical 3 year old fashion Svea said, "When's my Mom coming back?"  Ha.  They really can't hear about someone else's issues!!  :)

Next picture;  Atley had requested that Alexa play "Christmas music."  Haha.  Svea and Cal were going to the gate talking about Santa.  Where is Santa?  And they were pointing at the cubbies.  Ha.  They ran to the gate several different times still talking about Santa Claus.  

Next picture;  Svea did lots of drawing, coloring, doing stickers and putting tape on her paper.  She rarely sits down while doing Art.  She stood for at least 40 minutes doing Art this morning.  Last picture: Just running and burning off some energy with Nora and Atley.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
