Svea - 02/02/2021

Svea ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate no shrimp, ate brown rice, bite of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries. 

First picture: That's a big pile of soft stuff (pillows, doll blankets, stuffed animals, and dress-up clothes) on the couch. Somewhere under it all is Svea.  Nora was adding more and more.  Miles (at the top of the picture) was trying to pull pieces off.  Following picture: Svea was perched on the counter-top playing with the food toys and Miles had some in the sink he was playing with.  They velcro together and Miles is always studying the velcro.  He likes pulling them together and pushing them back together.  

Next picture;  This was pretty cute. Svea was being so dramatic with her phone call.  I heard her saying, "I have have to message Terri and my Mom. Mom I miss you. I'm having a good day with Cal and Miles." So I asked Svea, "Who is Terri?"  Svea said, "She is the person who is cleaning my room."  :)  Oh, now I see why you may have to message her!!

Last picture;  I'm not sure what they were playing, but Svea and Cal were holding hands and walking around the room.  I just want you to notice who's leading and and who's in control here.  That's all I'm gonna say!!  Haha.   I can't help myself, I gotta say one more thing:  You may as well get accustomed to this at an early age Cal.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
