Svea - 03/02/2021

Svea ate two servings of blueberry bagel and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate two or three bites of shrimp, ate brown rice, no broccoli, and ate raspberries. She put her raspberry juice on her rice (like Nora and Atley) and they love it that way. :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea was wearing one of the bear masks. Ok, so it's on inside-out and it was creased right at the eyes so there was just a slit to look through. Haha. But she actually wore it for a long time. Second picture; Svea has a new-found skill; standing on her head. They all start out in the corner because they have support on both sides. Nora actually helped Svea the first time, but after that Svea just does it easily and quickly. Atley and Nora joined her this morning. 

Next picture: Svea and Cal were playing "Doctor" this morning. (Don't worry; I'm keeping a close eye on these people. Ha.) Svea was apparently the "patient," but she was sure bossing the "Doctor" around!! Haha. "Give me a shot!" "Give me a medicine!" "Give me a sticker!" LOL!! The sticker was especially funny; You've been such a cooperative patient!! 

Two more pictures of Cal playing with Svea. First was some "hide and seek" which is always hilarious at this age, but hey love it. Cal said, "I find you!" Of course he also watched her hiding under the cozy corner rug. Ha. Last picture: Cal was covering Svea with pillows and stuffed animals on the chair. Cal said, "Svea is cozy." Well she does have her eyes closed!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
