Svea - 03/04/2021

Svea ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of cooked and uncured 100% grass fed beef polish sausage (smiley face), ate whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of strawberries.   

For some reason the past two weeks Svea keeps bringing up some of Cal's impressive blowouts! Haha. She said, "Remember when Cal pooped at your house!?! That was a blowout!" Haha. Yes, I haven't yet been able to forget! Nora asked, "What's a blowout!?" Svea said, "When poop goes out of your diaper!" Wow, that was an impressive definition. 

This morning Cal was spinning in circles and Svea knows that spinning in circles is for one reason and one reason only!! "Cal!! You don't have a dress!!" Haha. That made me laugh!!

First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Svea and Nora were riding the bikes up and down the sidewalk. So nice to be outside getting some fresh air!! Following picture: Svea actually moved to the top of the igloo to get away from Miles, but he's pretty resourceful and using blocks to stand on he's already been to the top of the igloo once!!

Last picture: Svea and Cal were in the cozy corner singing, "Jingle Bells" and actually doing a great job with lots of the words. Svea needed her poopy diaper changed and she gave Cal his instructions while I headed her toward the changing table; "Do not sing while I'm gone!" Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
