Svea - 03/08/2021

Svea ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground turkey, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, avocados, and cherries.  

A few days ago Avi was telling me (and the other kids as well) what time of day she and Svea were born. Avi said she was "born at dinner time" and "Svea was born at night time." I'm glad I heard that conversation otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue what Svea was talking about today when she said, "I was born at Nap Time." Haha!

Callahan and Svea were playing some "hide and seek" game this morning and as usual it was entertaining to watch and listen to. Finally Svea resorted to just telling Cal where he should go and hide. She said, "Cal, go hide somewhere in the igloo." (She made it sound like he had a choice of rooms. Ha!)

This first picture I have of Svea and Cal is left over from Friday afternoon, but I only have two pictures of Svea that will load!! They're playing on the teeter-totters, but Svea was working on her balancing skills as well by doing some surfing. :) Last picture; I had some cut-out pictures of girls and so they were dressing up their's however they wanted. Svea said, "This is Mommy."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
