Svea - 03/15/2021

Svea ate cheerios and no banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, bite of whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, half of tomato, and ate fruit cocktail. 

The land line was ringing this morning and Svea said, "Hey Gary! Your phone is calling." Haha. She frequently does really cute "wording" in her sentences. 

First picture: Svea was talking steady and intently to Miles about the phones, but I have NO idea what it was about. Although when he laid the phones on the shelf when he was done, he didn't do it quite right and she had to fix them. Ha. Following picture: Svea was doing a dot painting picture again. 

Next picture: Svea had been watching Atley and Avi rolling up over and over in the big Olaf blanket like a burrito. I was in the kitchen and I heard Svea's distress call and this is what I saw. Silly kid. She was really stuck. She's so little and the blanket is big! So she was rolling over and over several times and she was wrapped up pretty tight. When she went off the edge "head first" she couldn't get back up. Last picture; This was pretty cute when Avi was wrestling around with Svea and I guess Avi was a "nice monster" from what I could hear. :) Svea said, "I have a treat for you."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
