Svea - 04/02/2021

Svea ate oatmeal and no baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans. She ate most of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate most of fruit cocktail.  

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon. Svea and Cal had SO much fun playing together. Nora and Miles had already left for South Dakota so it was these two along with Atley and Avi. (The two Easter egg fanatics!) In the first picture these two were singing, "Teeter-totter bread and water, wash your face with dirty water.....all fall down." And they'd "fall" off and laugh like crazy. ("All fall down" from Ring around the Rosie.)

Here are a couple pictures of Svea being Svea. Haha. She is so cute, sweet, and in my opinion she's funny; even (or especially) when she's not trying to be funny!! She's not trying to be funny in these pictures, but they make me laugh so much!! She was laying on the couch sucking her thumb and she said, "Guys!! I want everyone to be quiet so I can hear the music!!" Alexa was playing "Race Cars." Following picture in front of the mirror. This was immediately after breakfast and all she was doing was pulling down the sleeves of her dress. But she turned it into a dramatic production and performance and was moving around in slow motion. She saw me get the camera, but I was trying not to interrupt the actress at work. Ha. 

Next picture: Svea is busy informing Cal he is not wearing the "super hero" cap/mask correctly!! There are slots for the eyes and he "needs" to pull it down over his eyes. Haha. Last picture; Doing play dough together and again Svea is assuming she's the teacher!!  Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
