Svea - 04/15/2021

Svea ate half of blueberry bagel and ate two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate a serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with olives, tomato sauce, pineapple, and peppers. She ate no whole wheat pizza crust that we serve on the side and ate a serving of pineapple on the side.   

First picture: Svea was a bit on the testy side when she arrived and started yelling at Atley about something. And then gave Atley a shove. I really wanted to laugh, but I refrained. She reminded me of a little banty rooster. If you've never seen one, they are small, but aggressive. Then she got in Atley's face and yelled, "You're not one of the sisters!!" Ok Svea, you need to go to the Doll House and play by yourself for awhile and calm down. This works very well for that; she will play there alone and it totally mellows her out.  

Next picture: I was in the kitchen and I heard Svea say, "I gotta go potty!" I ran out there all excited and this is what I found. Svea pretending she had to go potty. Miles was watching her and decided it looked like a good idea so he got in the other sink. 

Next picture; What could possibly go wrong with this set-up!?! Ha. Cal is inside, Svea yelling orders from this end, and you can see Miles dangling off the other end. :) Then I heard Svea yell to Cal, "If you don't let me come in I'm not gonna give you a present!!" :) Last picture; Sister Avilene giving Svea a mauling. First on the couch, then the floor, Avi carrying Svea back to the couch, over and over again. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
