Svea - 05/04/2021

Svea ate half of her waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and baked cinnamon apples. 

I'm gonna mention it today and again on Friday: There will be no Blogs next week while I'm in Louisiana. (I'd be more than happy to post pictures of Gideon from there - every day!! Ha.) Blogs will resume on Monday the 17th.

First picture: Svea had a good morning and played at the Doll House 3 or 4 different times. She also wanted to play with the cameras in the Preschool Room. So she's been trying to master those and she's managed to get a few pictures taken. As long as she keeps her fingers from wrapping around the front of the camera!! :)

Next picture: This puzzle should be looking familiar. She's been doing it for several days now. She loves this one because she can successfully do "Minnie's" face first!! And then she works around that part of the puzzle. Which is great as that gives her confidence that she can figure out these puzzles. She really never spent much time here doing the easier puzzles; just jumped right into these. :)

Last picture: Back at a favorite spot doing a favorite activity. :) Miles climbed up there and was sitting in the sink on the left and Svea kept a close eye on him. In a unrelated story: Avi had gotten on Cal's case about something and Svea (who was not in the same room) chimed right in and started chewing out Cal too. Uhhh...this doesn't involve you Svea. Silly kid.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
