Svea - 07/15/2021

Svea ate no blueberry bagel and ate half of her peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, tomato sauce, pineapple, peppers, and olives. She ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and no pineapple on the side.   

I forgot to put this in Avi's Blog: Lauralea had to go to Plains today to help her family so there is no Science with Lauralea today.

Svea and I spotted a centipede on entryway floor and Svea exclaimed: "Gary!! that's a creepy bug! That creepy bug I never saw!" (Translation: Creepiest bug I ever saw! Haha.) "I don't like creepy bugs! I don't like that creepy bug!" Ok, I get your point and I already took care of that sucker. She was too busy freaking out to notice what I was doing. Haha.

Here are some pictures from Svea's morning. She worked on her Art picture with the scissors. I'm not sure how she managed to get so many tiny minuscule pieces of paper scattered around, but she managed to do so very successfully! :) Second picture: Svea jumping straight up and landing on her butt/back. 

Next picture: Atley caught some kind of bug outside - I think it was a box elder bug - and Svea and Nora were kind of interested, but not too interested. Ha. Last picture: Just hanging around!! Having fun, being a monkey, and swinging off the climber.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
