Svea - 08/30/2021

Svea ate kix cereal and bites of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch she ate avocado on ground turkey, most of toasted whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomatoes and ate cherries. At the lunch table Svea asked Atley; "What does your home look like!?!" Atley said, "You'll find out what you come to my house."

Random announcement by Svea. "Hey Gary! Sylvie and Conner broke up. That means they're not best friends anymore. They broke up." Awww, that's sad. However, thanks for the update and keeping me informed with the latest on Sylvie's relationships. :)

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon. Svea said, "Hey Gary! Look at this!!" I saw what she was doing and grabbed my camera. By the time I got the camera Avi, who'd heard Svea and saw what she was doing, had sprinted over to join her Sister. Haha. Speaking of Avi it's kind of quiet around her today. I haven't been hearing, "Gary! Hey Gary! Gary! Gary! Hey Gary!" countless times. Hope Avi is enjoying her first day. 

Next picture; This is a "castle" that Atley built for everyone to use. Thanks Atley. I overheard this conversation: Cal said, "I'm not happy." Svea said, Then leave the castle." Cal responded immediately!! "I'm happy now." Haha. That was a quick turnaround. 

Next picture: I took this picture just as Svea was getting ready to start doing some Art. She had to get everything set up first before she was ready to start an Art project. Following picture: I took this picture during her Art when she saw Cal wandering around the Play Room. You can tell by her posture that Cal's catching some heat from Svea. "Cal! I told you to stay in the Castle!" Haha. Bossy Girl. 

This last picture cracks me up! Prior to this she said, "Hey Cal, people don't usually stand by guards." I asked, "What did you say? Guards." Svea said, "Yes, like this." And she went over to the other Castle to show me what she meant. Good work Svea. Now I understand!! Cal, on the other hand, didn't seem to understand or care. Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
